If you live in southern New England, you’re well aware that it’s been rainier than usual this fall, especially here in the Boston area. This has proven really tricky for family photographers at the time of year when their calendars jam-packed. I limit myself to only 3-4 sessions each month, and I *still* had some difficulty rescheduling a couple of my sessions that got rained out. I truly have no idea how photographers who book 20 sessions or more each month had anyyyy time to reschedule at all.
On the day of this particular session, it was dry, relatively warm, *and* we had nice light. Golden light has been a real bonus this season- something I certainly didn’t get at every session. It’s important to remember though, that even if we’re shooting on an overcast day, we’ll get great photos 🙂. Never stress about the weather! In fact, it started pouring 20 minutes into my own family’s photography session this past October, and we still managed to get a full gallery of photos we love!
