Concord, MA Extended Family Session | Boston Family & Children’s Photographer

Back in March or so, I was contacted by a prospective client who wanted to book an extended family session with her 3 brothers, their spouses, and her 3 superrrrr adorable nieces. Their intention was to give the photos to their mother (who knew nothing about the session!) for Mother’s Day. More specifically, they wanted to re-create a photo that had been taken of them when they were kids sitting in a tree at Minuteman National Park in Concord, MA. I loved the idea and could envision the look of surprise on a mother’s face upon seeing a picture of her grown children re-creating something from their childhood. In addition to the tree shot, we took lots of candids of the whole gang. Between everyone’s AWESOME ability to just be themselves in front of the camera, their perfectly planned attire, and the beautiful light we had that night, this is definitely going down as one of my favorite family sessions to date. I can’t WAIT to hear how mom likes the photos when she gets them this Sunday, and I hope there are some happy tears involved :).

And last but not least, here’s one of the photos we took in the childhood tree :).

WELCOME

Oh hey! I’m Melissa, a Boston family & newborn photographer, but I like to refer to myself as a toddler-whispering, child-taming, photographic ninja.
