Emma and Lily’s Sister Session | Concord, MA Photographer

I’ve been insanely busy for about a month now. First, things were crazy because of my wedding and the weeks leading up to it felt more like a 3/4 job (yes, I said 3/4, because it didn’t quite feel full-time but it surely felt like more than part-time, ha). And then, the day after returning home from the wedding weekend, we left for our honeymoon. Oh wait, no we didn’t, I went back to work! Despite it being the first week back to school, I had every intention of resuming the photo thing jn full-force. I planned on posting a whole bunch of previews, starting to blog some summer sessions, etc. BUT THEN, almost as though we missed the chaos of wedding planning, we decided to go house hunting. Things quickly became a whirlwind and we ALMOST bought a house, so as one can imagine, life got crazy again and I didn’t even open up Photoshop for nearly a week. Now that we aren’t buying the house and I have a day to breathe, I’ve decided now is as good a time as any to blog one of my favorite summer sessions!

Meet Emma and Lily :). Emma was a student in my second grade class in 2013 (aka the dream class), so when I found out that her family won the session that I donated to our school fundraiser, I was pretty pumped. We met in Concord one night over the summer, and I had so much fun hanging with Emma and getting to know her super adorable little sister, Lily. I don’t know what their parents’ child-rearing tricks are, but these two girls ACTUALLY seem like best friends, and I think it really shows in the photos. Enjoy :).

WELCOME

Oh hey! I’m Melissa, a Boston family & newborn photographer, but I like to refer to myself as a toddler-whispering, child-taming, photographic ninja.
