If you know me or have been following my social media for a bit, you’ve probably noticed that I’m a dog person and that I welcome every opportunity to photograph pups and their tiny humans. I actually wrote an article for Clickin’ Moms all about photographing babies and dogs because I love it thatttt much. You may have also noticed that I don’t exactly have a lot of cat/baby pictures. That’s partially because cats are such elusive creatures, and partially because I don’t go out of my way to encourage them to join us hahaha.
But THIS CAT. Oh my god thissss cat. Paisley is the most beautiful cat I have ever laid my eyes on, and she’s also hypoallergenic, so when she insisted on joining us (aka harassing us) for the first half of baby Michaela’s session, I totally welcomed her. I was a little worried that I when I sent this family their completed gallery, they’d wonder why on earth it started out with 25 billion pictures of their precious feline.
After hanging out and taking pictures in the nursery for awhile (with the cutest, fluffiest little photobomber), we headed to the master bedroom where the next two members of their family zoo joined us! The moral of the story is, if you want me to photograph your baby, you better have a pet or two. HA. Just kiddddding :). I happily photograph families with and without furchildren, but it’s certainly a bonus when clients’ pets are adorable and willing participants :).
