Boston Family Photographer

As a newborn and family photographer, I photograph a lot of newborns and a lot of 1-year-olds, but not a lot of babies in that middle age range. This winter, however, I’ve had a few new clients who opted for a session some time during their baby’s first year rather than during the newborn stage. As much as I love those newborns, I’m also loving these older babies. They are smiley but they can’t run away from me ;).

Baby E. nailed her session, bringing lots of smiles in front of the beautifullll accent wall in her nursery ;). I always get so excited to step into strangers’ houses to see what they’ve done with their little ones’ rooms. Okay, that probably just made me sound like a weirdo, but I am a sucker for home decor! I love seeing what people do with their spaces. In Boston, a lot of homes are older with visually interesting details (sloped ceilings, for example), and I love capturing all of that!

Total sidenote about accent walls! I believe the one in this nursery was from Etsy, but Urban Walls is a great place to check out if you’re in search of one. We’re going to re-do our bedroom soonish and I plan to beautify one wall! Here’s another from a recent session if you like to drool over them like I do!

WELCOME

Oh hey! I’m Melissa, a Boston family & newborn photographer, but I like to refer to myself as a toddler-whispering, child-taming, photographic ninja.
