Hi everyone, and Happy Thanksgiving Eve! I started this blog post about a week ago and I’ve been adding to it slowly over the past few days. The idea of creating this post came to mind a day or two after the election, when, like so many of us, I was caught completely off guard by Trump’s victory. I recognize that my business page is no place for a political forum, nor do I intend it to be, but I also recognize that a lot of people around me are deeply worried and saddened by all that has transpired since November 8th. As I sifted through images from a recent session (it was Jillian, Ross, Cora, and Margot’s session, specifically), I found myself comforted by the joy and innocence that was oozing out of every photo. I’m not sure if the universe was/is looking out for me in my hormonal, emotionally unstable-ish pregnant state (that’s the announcement, folks!), but as I began culling through more of my recent sessions, I started noticing that they all seemed more joyful than ever, as though someone had deliberately handed me more (real) smiles, more authentic moments, and more sibling love than ever before. Or maybeeee I’m just trying a little harder to find it these days :). Whatever the case may be, these photos have been the perfect pick-me-up, and I wanted to share them with whoever could use a good smile.
